We are continually bombarded these days with talk of how the Internet changes everything. The strangest things go "viral," putting themselves immediately in the category of folklore. The latest occurred Tuesday night, at the end of the Boston Celtics' upset victory over the Heat in Miami, which gave Boston a 3-2 series advantage, one win away from moving on to the NBA Finals. As Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade ambled down the tunnel after the 94-90 loss, a young fan was heard to shout, "Good job, good effort!"

The kid's comment blew up on national sports talk radio Wednesday morning, but it also went "viral," via the advent of YouTube. According to Yahoo Sports, the kid's enthusiasm has led to a $22.99 "Good Effort" T-shirt sale. The parody Twitter account @goodjobkid had spun off more than 3,100 followers by Wednesday afternoon.
