Paper Magazine Editor Says Kim Kardashian's Nude Photos Were ...

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian's nude photos for Paper magazine were reportedly done as one 'last hurrah' before she has another baby.

The reality star posed nude for a set of photos in the magazine, attempting to "break the internet," and, according to TMZ.com, she wanted to show off her curves again before her body changes with pregnancy and she's very proud of getting into the shape she's in now following the birth of daughter North West 15 months ago.

Two photos of Kim published on Tuesday revealed the star's bare backside before another pair of snaps were released on Wednesday showing the rest of the star.

The photos were met with criticism, even prompting "Glee" star Naya Rivera to comment on them; while numerous others called out the magazine for photoshopping the images.

Paper editor Mickey Boardman confirmed that the images were retouched a little, but the curves are all Kim's.

"Every cover of every magazine is airbrushed on some level," Boardman told the magazine. "But what I will say, is that is her butt. It is not padded. It is not augmented. That is all really her. But, yes, there was retouching to clean things up and make things look amazing.

"That's what retouching is. It's not building an ass that isn't there or taking 50 pounds off the waist."

Kim was shot by famed photographer Jean-Paul Goude back in September, and the artist and his muse set out to recreate his famous 1976 photo (nsfw) of model Carolina Beaumont with a Champagne glass on her behind and popping the cork of a Champagne bottle, spewing the bubbly over her head and into the glass.

"And they say I didn't have a talent," Kim wrote on Instagram, "...try balancing a champagne glass on your ass."
