The Biggest Loser has lost a former contestant, as Season 7's Damien Gurganious passed away on Monday.
Damien died after suffering from a rare autoimmune disorder that caused bleeding in his brain.

The 38-year-old had been on the reality show competition back in 2009 with his then-fiancée Nicole Brewer Gurganious.
Here's what she shared on her Facebook page after the tragic loss of her husband:
"As most of you know, I never post on social media. So, it is highly ironic and deeply sad that my first true post is to inform you of the tragic loss of my beloved husband, Damien Gurganious. Damien suffered from the sudden onset of a rare autoimmune disorder, Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), which caused inoperable bleeding in his brain. Damien passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014.
All of you who knew Damien can attest to his generous and loving spirit, his outgoing and gregarious personality, and his caring and compassionate nature. Damien always desired to bring out the best in those around him by offering encouragement, support and love, often couched in his own hilarious and sage adages."
While The Biggest Loser is set to show an "in memoriam" card following December 11th's episode, The Damien Gurganious Family Fund website has been set up for those wishing to help Nicole and her daughter Giselle during this tough time.
Our hearts go out to Damien's family and loved ones following his tragic death.
